The new Colorado Kids 1st number plates are available in Logan, Phillips and Sedgwick County and throughout the month of June, July and August, 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit ECCLPS.
The number plates are sponsored by the Rocky Mountain Research and Prevention Institute (RMRPI), a non-profit organization which serves as a funding resource for child-related health and safety programs throughout Colorado.
According to Dr. Lisa Van Bramer, RMRPI director, "The Colorado Kids 1st number plates are intended to raise statewide awareness about children’s health and safety and to raise money to further that effort. Our overall goal is to help keep Colorado communities healthy and safe".
For every number plates donation at which the Early Childhood Council of Logan, Phillips and Sedgwick County’s (ECCLPS) name is listed as the referring organization, $30 will go directly to ECCLPS. As a bonus, ECCLPS is also eligible to apply for grants from RMRPI. We are hopeful that the Colorado Kids 1st number plates sold during June through August will not only raise awareness for child health and safety programming in Colorado, but will also raise valuable dollars to support our organisation locally.
To obtain Colorado Kids 1st number plates the vehicle owner must make a one-time $30 tax-deductible donation to the Colorado Kids 1st Fund.
