You can now spot Atlantans who are family members of military personnel on the road.
The "True patriot" number plates are now available at vehicle licensing officis throughout the state.
The number plates are designed after the maroon heart insignia which signifies a person who has a relative in the military.
The Atlantan Department of Transport said 2,500 maroon heart number plates have been made.
"I think it's great for any soldier on the road to see the number plates and know they have support" said plate owner owner Natalie Sherman.
Sherman said the special number plates cost the same as regular ones.
She said she hopes other families with active military members decide to get the new number plates.
