3D Text
When using our plate builder one of the styles of text you have the option of choosing is '3D Text'. If you choose 3D Text for your plates the picture here shows exactly how the digits will appear on the finished plates.
Electric Cars
Our Plate Builder has the facility to allow the customer to order the new electric car number plates. These plates are available with Plain Black text, Domed Black text and 4D Black text. The fact that these plates are for use on electric cars is denoted by the plain green badge to the left of each plate. When ordering plates for use on electric vehicles, you can expect your plates to look exactly like the photos shown here.
Domed Black
When using our plate builder one of the styles of text you have the option of choosing is 'Domed Black'. If you choose Domed Black for your plates the picture here shows exactly how the digits will appear on the finished plates. These digits stick out from the plate hence the word 'domed'.
4D Perspex
The pictures shown here are precisely how you can expect the letters and numbers to appear on your 4D number plates. The photos shown are of 4D number plates on one of our staff cars. The black letters and numbers are laser cut from 3mm thick black acrylic. Because the acrylic is laser cut we achieve a very smooth and very high standard of finish on letter / number edges. Once laser cut, the letters and numbers are adhered to the acrylic plate faces with the use of water resistant adhesive foam giving 100% coverage. Because the digits are solid black and are the correct size and font, the plates can be legally used on the UK highway.
5D Gel Perspex
The pictures shown here are precisely how you can expect the letters and numbers to appear on your 5D Gel Perspex number plates. The black letters and numbers are laser cut from 3mm thick black acrylic and then finished with a gel domed coating.
The acrylic is laser cut for a very smooth and superior standard of finish on letter / number edges. Once laser cut and gel doming applied, the letters and numbers are adhered to the acrylic plate faces with the use of water resistant adhesive foam giving 100% coverage. Because the digits are solid black and are the correct size and font, the plates can be legally used on the UK highway.
